Joseph’s strength is his ease and interaction with people from all walks of life. In the streets, on the road, in the mountains or @ the beach.
Joseph had traveled the world since he was a teen as an avid surfer.
Joseph developed a passion for filmmaking at 14/ shooting surf films with his friends.
His passion for cinema lead him to film school at San Francisco State. Where he earned a BA in Cinema.
From there Joseph, worked in a post house. He became a member of local 16 working as a Grip/Electrician & also working in the Art Department & Props. Joseph has worked every crew position with the exception of make up & wardrobe. Then moving on to direct his own projects.
Joseph loves the collaboration process, with the crew. He fully comprehends the intricate alliance between Director, Agency, and Client.
Joseph has numerous years of Production experience. Working in all elements of Production. His passion is to create authentic compelling visual film that connect with an audience. He understands Today’s challenges in Production and he embraces finding creative solutions for every job.
Joseph’s passion for filmmaking & storytelling draws from a wide range of influences, including film, photography, art, music, travel, family and life experience. Joseph’s talent lies in his ability to tell memorable stories with compelling visuals and authentic performances.
Whatever the medium it is all about communicating in a genuine real way that connects with the audience.
Joseph will travel anywhere in the world to make a story come alive. Each shot dictates his approach. He stays flexible and open when it comes to storytelling.
